There are a lot of things I love in these photos starting with the location – the fifth floor of Harvey Nichols . A friend introduced this particular spot to me a couple of years ago and its definitely one of my favourite places in London just to sit and watch the world go by, especially during the summer months. I’ve had a lot of good memories  here and despite it being right in the centre of London it always has somehow a secluded feel about it. Anyway, moving onto the outfit: For me yellow is the ultimate summer colour. Maybe  because it’s the colour of  sun and sand but whenever I wear it it makes me feel happy and we should always wear more of what makes us happy! What I also like about this playsuit is the little slit at the front which shows off the most flattering part of my stomach and if an item of clothing is going to flatter my figure it’s a no brainer. I’ve paired the outfit here with little black boots but with the playsuit being one block colour most tones of shoe would have worked. Not all playsuits could be described as elegant but I think this one is and could be fine for a daytime as well as an evening summer occasion.

Playsuit: Zara
