I really loved this shoot as the sun was shining and the dungarees and sandals reminded me of my childhood. So, all rather retro and yet all over the fashion magazines and high street stores at the moment.
As fun as it is in dressing up in dresses sometimes it’s nice to just throw on something more casual. Denim play suits really fit the bill for summer and I think they go super well with plain ‘tees’ like the one I’ve paired it with. However you could just as easily match these dungaree’s with any coloured ‘tees’, both long or short sleeved and definitely something with stripes – maybe it would have just been easier to say any top! As for the shoe I wanted to keep to the black and white theme and at the moment I am really into shoes with extended lace that go up the leg.
The hat has pretty much become a sort of safety blanket in terms of putting together certain looks. It can really help to turn a simple outfit into something more ‘on trend’ and give me so much more confidence.
Overall I would wear this look on any summer’s day (not that there’s that many) and with the dungarees being so neutral could pair it up with flip flops or even wedges depending on the occasion.
