Every now and then an outfit or a look comes from a particular inspiration and here in this look for me it was the iconic Kate moss. I remember when growing up she was one of the most sort after models and even today after a career of over 20 years(and the face of ‘Rimmel’, ‘Burberry’ and a thousand other brands) she is still massive.
I’ve had a black leather skirt in the wardrobe for ever and hardly ever wore it yet was really exited when I came across this one. What makes it different is the detailing of the belt and zips which add so much more definition to not only the skirt but the whole look. I know if I had paired this top with my original black skirt it would not have looked half as good. I am also a massive fan of this grey top – I think its so adorable and will go with most things – skirts, jeans, leather trousers – make that anything! . I honestly also don’t think you can ever have enough plain tee’s in your wardrobe.
I really enjoyed that there was a red post box in some of these photos, giving a ‘Kate Moss Rimmel’ ad vibe and the black heels and sunglasses tie up the Kate Moss look perfectly.
