Hi everyone and a very happy Sunday to you, hope you’ve had a nice and relaxing day. For me, Sunday’s will always be a day of no make up and staying in my pajamas all day.
Being a fashion blogger I always have to keep an eye open for the weather and If you don’t live here, let me tell you, in London it rains a lot especially at this time of the year. I am not saying this to have a moan, in fact it’s quiet funny looking back, but on the day I shot this look and four other different ones it was all pretty much in the wind and rain. All because this month several international men’s fashion weeks are taking place meaning my photographer was hardly ever in the country, so it was shoot on this day or not at all! Through all the smiles and poses my memories are that I was freezing and wet but if that’s not dedication to your blog I don’t know what it. Having said that, for me fashion blogging is still the best job in the world and I wouldn’t swap it for anything.
Moving on to the look – this is what I would call a perfect ‘January jumper’. Christmas may be a distant memory and the overload on green and red may have come to a halt but why should we stop the glitter and sparkle? We shouldn’t and this jumper certainly hasn’t.
If you have been following my fashion for a while you will probably recognise that this is a very typical Emma dress, it’s got the length and fit I love and that’s my tone of denim. The dress is great, the jumper is great but what is best is the combination of the two, they couldn’t be more suited and I seem to get a lot of complements when I wear them together. Finally, I paired the look with some striking silver boots which of course go with the silver in the jumper. A look which could go from daytime to evening depending on which footwear you decide to use.
