One of the things I like most about blogging is the opportunity to be creative. I really enjoy having full creativity over what I put out there in terms of styling, location, narrative, etc. I call myself a fashion blogger and of course that is the main focus of this blog but I also enjoy creating little stories based on where I am shooting and what I am doing. Here, I have found myself on the ‘Embankment’ and I love how these photos have turned out. I am not going to lie, it took me about 10 minutes to feel comfortable standing on this slippery ledge when on the other side was just a massive drop to the muddy and cold river Thames (well done, brave Emma!).
As for this look, I am a massive fan of the pink sweater knit – it’s super warm and cosy and such a beautiful shade of pink. I wore a similar knit dress a few blog posts back but back then I dressed it up with boot heels, here I have dressed it down and turned it into a more casual everyday look. The denim jacket is amazing, I know it probably comes across as just a plain denim jacket and it is, but it’s such a great fit and fabric and one of those jackets you know you are going to get a lot of use from. As for the shoes and the hat – I hope on theme with the rest of the look. I wasn’t actually planning on wearing this hat in these photos but it was so cold I had too shove it on at last minute and am very happy I did!
A great everyday, casual and fun outfit to wear.
