Casual but chic

Hi guys, hope you’re all good. It’s seems a little strange for me now going back to the ‘day job’ writing about fashion. I’ve been recently writing about other topics but here I am definitely back in my comfort zone. Behind the scenes however I have been having a lot of fun planning out other blog post ideas and I can’t wait to share them with you down the line.

Anyway – this outfit! This for me is a classic example of casual but chic. You guys know by now that I love a good statement piece in my wardrobe and the badges on this cardigan really make this one a good example. I mean why wear a plain grey cardigan when you can wear something like this? It was super comfy and I can see myself wearing it next with high waisted jeans. As for the dress – admittedly it was actually meant to be below the knees but I rolled it up a bit…okay I rolled it up a lot!  I just think it looks so much better like this. Moving on to the heels – were they comfortable? Absolutely not but they are such a great style and colour that I couldn’t resist. They are definitely a perfect shoe to wear going out to dinner…… when you know you that there will be a lot more sitting than standing.
