So London Fashion week 2017 has arrived, is up and running and in full swing. For me, since I can remember, a highlight of the year. What makes it, even more, exiting for me now is that now I am fashion blogging it has given me the chance to actually get involved. Since Wednesday I’ve been spending my time at blogger hangouts, shows and parties and meeting a ton of amazing like-minded people. It’s crazy to think that a year ago today I was probably commuting into my safe but dull 9.00am – 5.00pm and now my work has no set times and is certainly a lot more exciting.
Anyway as for what I’m wearing (in this particular look) – I felt that dressing for LFW is probably the event of the year where there is the most pressure to look ‘fashionable’ and certainly to look like you know what you’re doing. Of course, fashion is subjective but I wanted to make sure that what I chose was appropriate for the occasion and on point with what’s going on in current trends. Furthermore, I wanted to make sure I was dressed classy and smart, the opposite I suppose of those days when I throw on a baggy jumper and call it a look.
What I came up with is mixing stripes with stripes to create a bit of an impression and I couldn’t resist bringing my new ‘Gucci’ along for the ride too. With a tea in hand, it was time to take on London Fashion week 2017.
