Normal is boring

Often when I am shooting outfit blog posts I don’t get the chance to look at the images until much later. While waiting for the results there is often quite a sense of anticipation as to how they are going to come out, basically, will they be any good or not. Anyway, I’ve only just sat down to look at these images and I am really delighted with the results. Sometimes some aspects of a particular shoot work well while others less so but here the outfit, the background, the lighting all seem to work well and come together in the way I would have wanted them to.

I guess when I think about it I wouldn’t necessarily say normal has to be ‘boring’. Although I’ve got to say it would never be how I would choose to present myself or hoped to be perceived. We all have personalities which are totally unique and it would be a shame not to express that whenever possible. The jumper itself was super snug and cozy but we all know that wasn’t its USP.

You may have noticed my love for skirts has been growing recently and I fell completely in love with this cream little beauty as soon as I saw it. Talking of falling in love, this hat is also so me and when I say I have been living in it recently, I literally mean pairing it with just about anything and everything. Overall I am really enjoying the whole vibe of this look. It sort of reminds me in a weird and crazy way of a fashionable version of a Lollipop lady!

I know – the anticipation of waiting for images is so real! I love this look though – it’s so sporty chic. And you look gorgeous!

I luv this look. Very casual, pretty and very feminine. The hat is great because it works so well with the skirt. If I wore this (and I’m a huge hippo) I would probably look smaller!
