Galle

Here I am in the largest city in southern Sri Lanka – Galle. I took the bus here Weligama (where I was staying) and this may sound a bit weird but getting the bus in foreign countries is one of my favourite things to do as it often offers a realistic snapshot of what it would be like to actually live in that country. Galle itself was absolutely beautiful – there was a perfect combination of cute cafes and fancy hotels and guess what I managed to check out both! It is a town that has had associations with Britain going back a long time and if you are after a good mix of good quality markets , restaurants and shops as well as local colour you will find it all here in Galle.

Fantastic photos! I love public transports in different countries as well, for precisely the same reason as you! <3!

I love these photos! That classic car in the background of the first photo, so beaut! I’m glad you enjoyed Galle, I would love to go to Sri Lanka one day, it really does look beautiful! 🙂
