Life on Gili Air

I think one of the best things about going to a country that’s not your own is having the chance to experience things you would never normally be able to do.

Staying in a tree house is something I have always always wanted to try and it ended up exceeding all my expectations. The tree house itself was over two floors and was a perfect blend of simplistic to feeling like you were staying somewhere really luxurious. The bed was super cozy and falling asleep listening to the ocean waves was really magical – waking up to a giant bee above my head was less magical but I guess that’s the price you pay for swapping a hotel room for a treehouse. Overall this has been my favorite place to stay since I left London two weeks ago and if you get the chance to visit the Gili Islands I can’t tell you how beautiful it all is. I would give these islands my highest recommendation –  you really cannot stay here and not enjoy yourself.
