I’ve just got back from a super fun and exciting trip to Barcelona and there goes another city I have fallen in love with! I was there for three days and despite it being February, I was overall really lucky with the weather. After the winter chill of London, it was so nice to feel sunshine on my face and get me oh so excited for the summer coming up later this year.
I stayed at the Cotton House Hotel a former cotton factory which had been converted to the hight of art and sophistication and was a truly beautiful piece of design. On arrival lay’d out on the fluffy as clouds beds were an assortment of gifts from candles to sweets which came across as a really nice welcoming touch. Breakfast is amazing at this hotel, you could literally have anything you can imagine and if you ever get the chance to stay here I recommend the blueberry pancakes with syrup (it’s making me drool just thinking about them). The hotel had beautiful high ceilings and aristocratically styled lounge rooms perfect for many a relaxing cup of tea and to just chill in. If you want to get some cool pics for your Instagram (or just in general) there are so many pictures spots and opportunities here.
Out and about in Barcelona, I had a fantastic lunch at the CDLC which was right on the beach front and one evening some cocktails at the W hotel which were two spots I would highly recommend checking out. While there, I came across so many other cool places but didn’t have the time to take them all in, so guess what – I’m going back next month.
