On my next stop of my journey in Granada I checked into the Gar Anat hotel, right in the centre of Realejo where all the coolest tapas and copas bars of Granada are situated, upon arriving at the beautiful enterance of Gar Anat boutique hotel I was greeted by the friendliest of receptionist who checked me in and showed me around the hotel giving me a brief history of the building.
After my tour of the hotel I was shown to my room… something quite unique about this hotel is that there’s no room numbers but room names which adds a nice little twist to the stay. The room was a stunning large room with tall ceilings, triple terraces, a large bed with curtains draped from the roof top all the way down to the floor and a welcome gift of wine and tapas laid out, which was perfect for the evening.
If your read my blogs often you will know if a fan of big baths and Gar Anat treated me to the biggest jacuzzi bath! I had 3 baths while I was there and considering I was only there for one night, thats saying something!
After a very comfortable nights sleep in my large but also cosy bed, I headed down to the arched breakfast room where a wonderful spread was laid out for me to choose from. There was traditional Spanish options such as churros and chocolate, as well as a contintal breakfast variety including a large choice of fruit. It was especially nice to have the option of soya milk as many places in Granada I found don’t offer this.
All in all I must say Gar Anat was the cherry on the top for my stay in Granada and if your looking for a central spot, I was highly recommend this hotel to you!
